WA School Surfing Titles 2010 presented by Waves Surfwear!
Waves got back on board presenting the WA School Surfing Titles for 2010!
This year the event was bigger than ever with schools from all over Western Australia being represented at both metro and regional heats and finals.
The contestants won 'Wave of the Day by Waves' award, including a pack full of awesome Waves gear!
The Brownes Chill WA School Surfing Titles State Final competed in conditions that appeared a lot like summer, with sunny skies and small but contestable surf at Trigg Beach making for a memorable month. The finals featured over 30 metropolitan and regional high schools, with anticipation building in school grounds across WA all week as the state final approached.
Despite the disappointment from many regional schools when they saw the waves at Trigg in the knee to waist high range, the event has an outstanding success with record numbers of teams competing in a two week long event which encourages participation in surfing and bodyboarding in the modern school curriculum.
